ITS
ITS is a department at OCPS supporting VoIP telecommunications, computer and hardware management, software applications and the enterprise data warehouse, the project management office, and service requests. Access the Service Level Agreement for a copy of the latest ITS SLA.


Applications
The Applications area is responsible for both school and business software application development for the district. The applications department is also responsible for integration between different systems to ensure seamless communication and reporting capability.


Information Security
Information Security delivers and maintains an information security program that safeguards information assets against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, damage or loss. Through the use of systems, policies and procedures the team supports the District's goal of providing a safe learning and working environment.


Enterprise Project Management Office
The Enterprise Projects area manages large technology related projects and the governance by which projects are selected and prioritized.


Business Operations
The Business Operations office supports ITS with various functions of purchasing, budget reporting, and ensuring that IT products being purchased meet ITS standards. 


Infrastructure and Device Management
Infrastructure and Device Management is a high-performing and dedicated team of IT professionals who provide a wide range of support services for district applications and devices. Other services provided by Device Management include network support at both at the school and at the district level.


Service Center
The Help Desk is a diverse team responsible for assisting OCPS employees with technology issue management which can be telephone, computer, application, network based, or training on new technology. For technical assistance, submit an online service request or reach them by phone at 407-317-3375.


Student Information Systems
The Student Information Systems department provides configuration, maintenance, support, and training for the administrative student information system - Skyward. It also provides student source data to approximately 100 other systems. The teacher portal-Educator Access +, the parent portal-Family Access, and the student portal-Student Access are all modules within Skyward. This department relies on the requirements developed by the Instructional Process Specialist groups and the Business Process Owners to configure Skyward to meet the needs of our students, parents, and schools.


Enterprise System Administrators
The primary function of this area is to manage the District's business system environments - SAP and EDW. The main functions include database, security, portal, and system administration. The team is responsible for implementing, upgrading, configuring, monitoring, and securing the technical environments. They provide technical support to the Applications team, Business Areas, Business Analysts, and End Users. In addition, the team defines standards for projects and systems integration.
