About:

The Research, Measurement and Accountability (RMA) office facilitates the accurate measurement of student learning, provides targeted research and accountability support, and connects stakeholders with data and insights that inform decision-making, strengthen performance, and promote continuous improvement.

The Departments

The Accountability department guides school and district leaders in navigating state and federal accountability systems, transforms assessment and accountability data into actionable insights, and empowers leaders to improve student learning.

The Assessment department leads the development, implementation, and support of high-quality K-12 assessment systems, providing timely and actionable measures of student learning, along with the tools, resources, and expertise needed to inform decision-making and improve student achievement.

The Research department provides insights and actionable recommendations to inform district decision-making through primary and partnered research, program evaluation, student learning growth (SLG) calculations, and support for state value-added models (VAM).
