Important Meal Benefits Update for School Year 2024 - 2025


NEW OCPS SCHOOLS CAFETERIAS SY 24-25

Important message for parents and guardians:
Only students enrolling in one of the new OCPS schools listed below must submit a meal benefits application for the 24-25 school year.

CEP schools 

The CEP program provides ALL students at participating schools to receive a breakfast and a lunch meal at NO CHARGE, parents do not need to complete a meal benefits applications during school year 24-25.

To assist families in qualifying for other benefits based on economic status, below is a link to the survey used for household economic verification. Please note, this survey has no impact or relevance to meal benefits - as all students eat at no charge.  Filling out the survey will aide in verifying your child’s status and potentially qualifying for benefits through other sources – not related to nor dictated by OCPS.

What information you will need to provide during the Household Economic Survey:
The names and incomes of every member of your household
The school, grade, and birthdate of every student in your household.
A valid email address and/or phone number for District communication.
An adult must complete and sign the Household Economic Survey.

Food and Nutrition Services department is reaching their mission to provide access to quality nutritious meals to support all OCPS students and educators. To ensure your child is eating nutritiously, students can choose three to five components for their meal.The five food group components are: proteins, grains, vegetables, fruits, and milk.For breakfast and lunch: Students may select a minimum of three out of four offered food items, where one of those items must be a 1/2 cup fruit or vegetables. Items will be charged at their individual price if less than three to five components are not selected.

Extra meals and smart snacks are available but additional charges apply.
*Snacks and Supper items are based on individual school qualifications.
