Evans High School is requesting your support for our second annual Trojan Service Day on April 2, 2016. In an effort to give back to our community and demonstrate true Trojan pride, our students will be partnering with local volunteers on a Saturday morning to beautify Evans High School campus and the surrounding area, in addition to serving non-profit organizations nearby. Through this event, we hope to show the positive difference Evans High School students can make and create a brand based on service.
Funds will go to t-shirts and food for participants. After the success of Trojan Service Day last year, we anticipate at least 500 volunteers for this year’s event. With this in mind, we would like to give each volunteer a T-shirt with the Trojan Service Day brand. Our hope is for each volunteer to represent the brand of Trojan Service Day during the event and beyond to spread our dedication to service throughout the community. Furthermore, these T-shirts will give our students more dress-code appropriate apparel. Evans High School dress code policy is designed to prepare students for the work force and create unity within the student body. By creating a brand of community service at Evans High School, we hope to cultivate a sense of responsibility and ownership in the students that will continue to thrive throughout the rest of their lives.
