To be eligible to participate in Orange County Public Schools' Voluntary Pre-K program your child must be 4 years of age by September 1 of the school year in which he or she would enroll, and you must reside in Orange County. 

All VPK registration MUST be completed ONLINE on computer or smart phone at: https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com.

The applications can be accessed in ALL languages.

The online application is now open for the 2020-2021 school year!

2019-2020 VPK Registration

Schools are still accepting VPK Eligibility Certificates from families with students eligible for the 19-20 school year.  

Parents must pre-register online to receive their issued VPK Certificate of Eligibility via email at 
https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/

Students will receive priority at their zoned school.  If there are spaces available after all zoned children have been accepted, then students will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You are required to bring your VPK Eligibility and Enrollment Certificate and an OCPS-accepted proof of residency (such as a deed, current lease, or tax exemption card). 

Please Note: The maximum enrollment is 20 students per class as required by the State. If a school has reached the maximum enrollment, then request to be placed on their waiting list.

2020-2021 VPK Registration

Schools will begin accepting VPK Eligibility Certificates from families with students currently enrolled at their school the week of March 2-6, 2020.  If class capacity is reached by the end of this week, schools will accept Certificates to be placed on the wait list.

Schools will begin welcoming parents of students zoned for their school from March 9-27, 2020 for VPK enrollment. Once a class becomes full, a waitlist will be provided for that class.

Summer VPK Program

300 Instructional Hours

Summer VPK is an option for any child that turned four years of age by September 1 of the current school year and did not previously participate in the school year VPK program.

Parents must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility by applying online at: https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com. 

UCP of Central Florida offers FREE full-day Summer VPK classes for children entering kindergarten in the fall at locations throughout Central Florida.
